Hotmetalhappening consists of a series of metal casting performances utilizing the flow and manipuation of molten iron. Through multi-disciplinary art performances, local and national artists will use recycled metals in artistic and technical demonstrations creating site specific sculpture and performance art. The audience will become engaged with one of the most relevant & historical industrial processes that built the city of pittsburgh.
